I'm the host, but you're the star!
Hey everyone, we're casting for our next season on "The Great American Amateur Kitchen" TV Show and we'd love to have you as one of our Guest Cooks.
So here's what I'd like you to do:
Upload to YouTube a video clip of you in YOUR Great American Amateur Kitchen creating your best "kitchen masterpiece." Set it to be Unlisted and copy the link in the form below. You don't need to hire a TV production crew (mainly because you probably don't have a production team like I do) so just use your camera phone or iPad, make it no more than 3 minutes because our producer and director usually fall asleep after watching anything longer than that. Hey... I'm just being honest.
Create anything you like, and the basic rules are just that...Basic! You can make whatever you love wherever you love to cook. The backyard grill, your RV, the local park - your Great American Amateur Kitchen could be anywhere!
We need to HEAR what you say so turn the sound on and we need to SEE what you do so turn the lights on and that should be fine. And don't forget to hold the phone horizontally to fill as much screen space as possible (those black bars on the side are not good TV!) Putting your kids in the video is great, you can even include the dog or cat or anyone else in your family. WE LOVE THAT! The main requirement is to HAVE FUN while you do it and that will come across in your video.
We're a family show so don't send us anything you wouldn't want your kids or your MOM (or my mom) to see.
